Auditing
The expectation of the auditor today has significantly changed from simply fulfilling a compliance obligation. Our approach is to first ensure we have a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business and an appreciation of what the client’s expectations are of the audit. Only then do we proceed to prepare an audit program that is tailored to deliver a meaningful outcome. We utilise sophisticated audit software. This assists in initially assessing risk and ultimately in the design of the audit program. The software is purpose designed and regularly updated to address the current requirements of the Australian Auditing Standards.
Our audit clients include both unlisted ‘for profits’ companies as well as ‘not for profits’ organisations. Clients include wholesalers, manufacturers, clubs and charities.
Our objective for the outcome of our audits is that in addition to a completed audit, the client is also provided with useful input on how to potentially improve their financial reporting systems.
Our specialist audit and assurance team can provide the following:
- Statutory audits
- Business acquisition investigation
- Due diligence reviews
- Superannuation fund audit
- System and internal control reviews
- Trust account audits
